Louisville, KY – Buzzard’s Roost Sipping Whiskey is – quite literally – rolling out a barrel to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition with the release of its newest single-barrel Founder’s Select Bourbon on Tuesday, Dec. 5
When & Where: Tuesday, Dec 5. The Buzzard’s Roost Barrel Roll will start from the corner of 6th and Main Streets at 5:00 p.m. and make its way down the sidewalk to Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey Row Experience at 624 W. Main Street, arriving at 5:30 p.m.
Musicians from the Louisville Orchestra will welcome everyone, and guests will get the first taste of a special limited release Founders Select bourbon.
Who: Barrel rollers will include Buzzard’s Roost Master Blender Jason Brauner and Buzzard’s Roost Distiller Ethan Spalding.
Buzzard’s Roost CEO Judy Hollis Jones will wave the whiskey flag to get the barrel rolling, and a “second line” of musicians from the Louisville Orchestra and fans will follow the barrel in a Prohibition Repeal Parade.
All will be greeted at the Buzzard’s Roost Whiskey Row Experience for a first taste of Buzzard’s Roost new limited-edition Founder’s Select Single Barrel Bourbon.
The bar will be open (drinks for purchase), showcasing the new menu of seasonal cocktails, and complimentary snacks will be available.
