This week, Woodford Reserve debuted the latest addition to their Distillery Series: limited-edition Blended Malt.

This new expression combines two malt whiskies. The first was 100 percent malt aged in used barrels, then finished in a Ruby Port Barrel. The other was a blend of five different styles of malt grains aged in new oak barrels. “This release showcases our ability to take complex barrels of whiskies, blend them together, and create a new flavorful product,” said Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall.
