NEW RELEASE: Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Bourbon 3rd Annual Hits Soon
This would certainly bring some cheer to ol’ dad come Father’s Day…Wild Turkey Distillery announced the third annual release of its 13 Year Russell’s Reserve Bourbon, non-chill filtered at 114.8 proof. Master Distiller Eddie Russell, in his 42nd year with Wild Turkey, prefers non-chill filtering as it retains oils which provide a richer more full mouthfeel experience.
Initially released in 2021, the 13 Year RR has been a hit on the consumer front.
“Releasing Russell’s Reserve 13-Year-Old Bourbon is a moment I’ve come to look forward to each year,” said Eddie Russell, Master Distiller at the Wild Turkey distillery. “This bourbon is a personal favorite of mine and I am proud to bring it back this year in time for Father’s Day. I know I’ll be raising a glass with my father and son, Bruce, to celebrate, and hope fans and folks trying it for the first time can enjoy a glass with their families and friends this summer season as well.”
Eddie Russell, a Bourbon legend himself, is the son of industry icon Jimmy Russell who can still be seen at the Visitor Center grounds.
Russell’s Reserve 13-Year-Old will be available nationally from retailers, as well as at ReserveBar.com, at $150 SRP per 750 ML bottle for a limited time, starting in mid-June. We’ll keep you posted when RR13 hits the market.
